Ouch. Almost 10 hours without scoring. That’s a rough one.

TFC do not have a midfielder who can distribute the ball. They are playing like a woman’s team: everything in the air. Mo is partly responsible. He went out on a limb signing older, tired and hobbled players. The others are too young, and inexperienced (Adu), or lacking in talent (Welsh, Lombardo). The defenders are solid, but without a midfield to speak of, they are expected to distribute the ball up the field, and this never works.
The team has a solid fan base, but this will disappear if these issues are not addressed asap.

In order to do well while on the atack a team has to have good team-work and that develops over time. A way to speed up the process is maintaining the starting line-up as much as possible and training attacking maneuvers that are built on fluidity and mobility (and sometimes on holding the ball to buy some time).
It takes time - the team is a young one .
Yet strategic thinking and good planning are musts.

I maintain Robinson is one of the best holding midfielders in the league. And as much as I do agree Mo should look elsewhere for players, it’s not as if the UK is a bad spot to scout. Look at the crop he got from the Championship for this season: Brennan, Robinson, Dichio and Welsh. Hardly the worst bunch.

Sam is right - Mo is getting good pieces in a market other teams wont touch.

You need o Brien out there, even Welsh. Dont get frustrated - half your team is on IR! It doesnt mean the core is bad.

And for an expansion side, NO ONE could have asked for better.
