“EXPANSION DRAFT” Finally something worth writing about
By: nicholas | November 20th, 2007
Well the famous expansion draft is coming up and toroonto fc has to protect eleven players and to expose the rest of the squad for San Jose Earthquakes to pick at. Quite simialr to last year without all the the Canadian Exceptions. But what makes the list of players available for toronoto fc is that most of the players are Young Canadian talent and a KIWI ( Hemming , Boyens , Lombardo, Pozinak ). We all know that Coach Mo cant protect them all, but if you had the choice would you change the list of protected players. Or would you chosen the same players to protect.
Personally i would Move sutton down to the unprotected list because of the concussion scares and move either Pozinak or lombardo to the protected list.
NOTE: San jose can only choose one player from our squad so lets hope that they dont watch toronto fc games..

Who is your pick to go?

tough but I think I would leave it as is.
If San Jose did take one player I’d want them to take… I know I’ll catch some shit for this… Andrea Lombardo.
I dunno, I know he’s a hometown boy and all and a lot of people at the BEEM adore him for some reason, but I was never sold on his ability. I especially do not like how he carries himself on the pitch. A for effort and passion and all but that’s about it.
Maybe a change may help his game. If he leaves he may develop a little better. I think he plays with too much pressure here. He can relax over there, gain some confidence, not feel pressured and maybe return to TFC a better player one day.

I´ve heard that Toronto FC is trying to convince the MLS to accept L’Impact Montreal in its ranks in order to promote a future derby Toronto FC x L’Impact Montreal.
It seems to me that this idea is not new.
If this happens : welcome to real soccer.Posted from

OMG..Look what I found! Any Toronto FC Soccer fan would love this. You get to go on a tour of the BMO stadium, with a FC Club staff member and you also get a ball signed by the Toronto FC Soccer team. How cool is that. Where will you get a chance like this. If you want to bid on some awesome items that I found visit this link. http://www.specialolympicsauction.com. There is this item up for grabs and many others.
