The All-Star Game Is Coming to Toronto

By: Sam | July 20th, 2007

garber.jpgThat’s right, after this year’s success in Commerce City, Don Garber and his boys made the pleasing and predictable decision of allowing Toronto to host the 2008 MLS All-Star Game.

We don’t know what side the MLS ambassadors will be playing against, but no doubt it’ll be a good one. Who knows? Maybe we’ll be seeing Maurice Edu playing.

Of course, MLSE (who own TFC) were all happy about the fact that the game will bring lots of tourists. First of all, it won’t, it’ll be bring a few, but it’s not the bloody final of the Champions League, and second of all, shut up, be happy for the game, not the monetary advantages.
