All star game- Opponent

As most of you already know the allstar game will be played at BMO field for the 2008-2009 season. But what has not been annouced is whom the opponent will be; But i was just told from a realiable source that the Opponent for this years game will be Liverpool FC. I know i know you might not be ready to believe in my many secret sources but, trust me as i tell you this, it is TRUE.

One of my many thoughts during the year, i somehow thought we are one “YOU WILL NEVER WALKING ALONE” from actually being becoming liverpool america. (and this is blasphomy coming from an arsenal fan)

HERE IS THE WRITING ON THE WALL

  • We are both sponsored by Carlsburg
  • Both fans are considered the best in there respective leagues
  • We are both called the reds
  • THe owner of Liverpool is vying for his own MLS team in Montreal ( he ownes the Montreal Canadians). So a coup like this will make montreal a little more appealing for futrure expansion.
  • Liverpool is for sure coming to North America in the summer

So watch your houses, cars and your wives because when liverpool comes into town they will all be burgled

I could go for a non-British team this time around. How about the stars of the Mexican league? That’d be fun, I reckon.

Mexican? The MLS All Star Team would mop the floor with any non all star Mexican team. Come on, have some respect! This is not the MLS of old. Anyway, I for 1 wouldn’t mind seeing the Liverpool match. I agree other leagues shoudl be considered. Heck, I would think that we should honor our potential Montreal fans with a Ligue 1 equipe!
