Canadian men’s Olympic coach and former national team midfielder Nick Dasovic is poised to become the next assistant coach of Toronto FC,The 39-year-old Vancouver native would fill a void on the Toronto bench which has been vacant since the departure of assistant Bob Gansler at the end of the 2007 season.
Dasovic recently guided Canada’s men’s Olympic team to an unsuccessful third place finish during the CONCACAF men’s Olympic qualifying tournament in Carson, Calif., and Nashville and was also an assistant coach during Canada’s winless and goalless performance as hosts of last summer’s under-20 World Cup.
Dasovic comes to Toronto highly recommended by the CSA based on his remarkable player management during the Olympic qualification, specifically the improvement of Andrea Lombardo and Tyler Rosenthal.

is it me or does this dude look like a messi lookalike..lol.. and what improvements did he do with andrea lombardo… WHO TO FIX HIS HAIR WHILE IN THE GAME COME ON.. HOW IS THIS GUY REALLY.. I NEVER HEARD OF HIM… HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY THE CSA.. THE “CSA” HAVE NO CREDITS IN SOCCER COME ON MAN.. GEEEZ… really is this a joke this guy is coming in… oh man i hope craver grinds him good lol.. i mean look at that pik he looks like a dumbass… anyways csa should really look at there shit b4 they tell tfc “hey i have this guy he has guided us to an unsuccessful 3 place finish in concacaf and we was the assistant coach for the under 20 team that couldnt score a goal OR WIN… BUT I SAY BUT HEY HE HAS GREAT PLAYER MANAGEMENT AND HAS IMPROVED SUCK ASS ANDREA LOMBARDO AND SOME DUD TYLE ROSENTHAL… SO TFC CAN U TAKE HIM CUZ WE DONT WANT HIM PLZ DO US THIS FAVOUR” noddes head and says do u really need this dude….? i say no! imo.
