Goat Hunting

As I mentioned in my last post, I’m in the middle of moving into residence at York University, which means that this preview is going to be a little shorter than I would like it to be.
Tonight marks the opening match of a home and home series with Chivas USA. Unfortunately for TFC, a home and home includes a road game. But hey, we won in Colorado. So let’s see how it goes.
Next Saturday’s game is going to be a huge challenge to our depth as we will be missing eleven players to international call ups and injuries so that makes tonight’s game all the more important. I expect John Carver to go with the following line up:
Sutton – Wynne, Velez, Marshall, Brennan – Ricketts, Robinson, Guevara, Johann Smith – Ruiz, Barrett
It’s possible that Marco Velez gets replaced by Julius James at centre back, as he has showed well there recently (especially offensively).
If Carver (like in the match against New England) goes with a 3-5-2 again, we could see the following formation:
Sutton – James, Marshall, Brennan – Wynne, Robinson, Guevara, Rosenlund, Ricketts – Ruiz, Barrett
The goats from LA meanwhile find themselves in sixth place in the Western Conference and haven’t won in six league games. They have also had lot on their schedule recently, as they have been competing in Superliga and the CONCACAF Champions League (something we should be doing also. Thanks Mr. Cunningham). They are facing injury troubles as three of their top 4 scorers are inactive tonight, including MLS legend Ante Razov. With any luck, their young standout Sasha Kljestan will have been sold by the return match at BMO, as talks are ongoing with several unnamed European clubs.
Tonight’s game also has a historic connection for TFC, as it is the first time we return to the site of our first game. Let’s also hope for a historic event on the field, as we have never scored against Chivas.

god dammm who is that girl look at that man.. u can jus say “mama” i can do headers on that all day long n u kow which headers i mean lol.. so tfc has been playing like shit man… fuck to be honest i stop watching some games it just pissed me the fuck off man.. like damm u just wanna slap each n everyone of those guys and slap the fuck out of mo till he is pink n blue n promises not to make stuipd moves while he is drunk n shit n no more fucking favours to those damm euro fuck heads that think its easy here man.. fuck sakes..
