So what will TFC get in exchange for Brian McBride? Now that he’s left the EPL, TFC has the highest allocation. Rumors say he’s headed to chicago. Any thoughts? check out soccerbyives.net for info.

Hey steve it is not set in stone that Manager Mo will pick up Brian McBride, because we have a similar forward in Danny Dichio occupying the same position ( But Mcbride is probably better at the same position ). Toronto doesn’t need another forward with the skill set as dichio. What toronto needs is another Forward who has pace and be able to run at defenders, basically to replace Jeff Cunningham ( like a ying to dichio’s yang). What makes Brian McBride so interesting is that Toronto has the ability to either be bold or just be a member of the Garber choir. If TFC is going to be bold they could hold out for a Robbie Rogers from Columbus or a Chris Rolfe or John Thornton from Chicago or if they have someone else in mind go for major Allocation money. But if Mo wants to keep in Garbers good book he will just ask for a draft pick which would be totally useless.
