Yeah we get decent seats when we get them from scalpers. I like sitting in sections 106-109. I have the supporters to my left and I am usually between the 18’s. Off the scalpers, both times we got the $60 ticket and paid $70 for it. I never asked if they had supporters section available or not. I am bit spoiled when it comes to sporting events so I am willing to pay a bit more to sit in a better seat even though I know there is really not a bad seat in the house. The Aston Villa game I was 7 rows from the field and like 4 yards on the right (north side of the Centre line, section 107). A buddy of mine works with Lombardo’s brother and they have seasons tix right beside eachother in section 106 that they got through work. He brought me out once when they played the Dynamo. I froze my ass off that night and got soaked in the rain but they won so I was happy!
Haha, you are really wanting to go check out a practice huh? I am not sure when their practice days are.

oh and yeah i really wanna see them practice because if its anything like europe at their practices they gives fans autographs and take pictures with them and stuff and that would be super awesome to take a pic with dichio or of course lombardo

LOL, yeah I don’t really know Lombardo’s brother well, I have met him twice, once when I went with my buddy who knows him and once after the Aston Villa game. My friend works with him. You’ll be happy to know they are Juve fans as well, at least his brother was sporting Juve Gear, so I am assuming they are. Yeah I see your point about wanting to go to practices. Hopefully you could get the opportunity. I tried looking online but to no avail.

The DC game was fun as all TFC games are. But Toronto’s going to need some depth next year to go along with the spirit of their coach and team. Otherwise its going to be hard for us to keep cheering. Unless of course we’re as lame as Leafs fans who have tolerated the lack of a championship for 40 years….

Yeah i heard they are juve fans. i read it on the csa website. haha i didnt even know he had a brother. i am assuming that since andrea’s name is andrea his brother has to have a cool italian name to something like hmmm…Francesco or something ahhaha. i tried looking online as well but i too couldnt find anything which is why i will probably end up just going to down there one day. on the tfc site mo was saying that he was giving them monday off and that they would be back to work on tuesday, wednesday and thursday so im assuming that means practice but i dont know what time so i might go down there for the day on thursday if i can get off work haha

haha that’s a true supporter! hopefully if they are practicing you will be able get into the stadium. If not it was still worth the try, but I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to watch! I am bad with names, but as i recall he had a pretty common name… we just refer to him as Lombardo’s brother. But yes Francesco is a cool name, I like it because its my middle name
So good guess at a cool Italian name!Search Team: They better not ever become like the Leafs or the supporters better not ever become plastic fans like Leaf fans are. My fear is that TFC will be the “IN” thing to do during Summers like the Leafs are in the winter. Despite perfromance, fans will still flock to BMO no matter what. In my opinion this is dangerous for a revenue first/win second, organization like MLSE and the Teacher’s Pension Fund (I am convinced they are anyways)and as long as mindless, unrealistic fans (like Corporate Leaf fans) continue to pack the stadium, they might not spend a dime more than they have to.

hahaha francesco is an awesome name!
why would they name the older kid andrea and then the next one a regular name….damn they just ruined it… haha but Lombardos brother works too lol well even if i wasnt ALLOWED in the stadium…i’d find my way in trust me…anyone who knows me knows that i would do just about anything to get inside if someone told me i was allowed. haha and if for some reason i still cant get in i would just wait outside the stadium doors because they have to come out of there at some point. lolPosted from

Actaully I think Andrea’s brother is a older than he is.
Haha that would be funny trying to pull off mission impossible to watch a practice. They should just give you the chance to get seasons tix with that kind of support.

i kno thats what im saying im soo proud to be a tfc fan! i swear i am one of the biggest supporters ever…one time i was at a party for my grandma’s annivversary and i got home after the game was over and i was soo mad and i was balling my eyes out because i missed a friggn game i know its sad but its all good.. i deserve season tix but they dont just give them out so im screwed
oh his brother is older..ohh well nevermind then lol….at least they came to their senses and named their last kid a awesomely cool italian name

Haha, when there’s no real article to comment on, make one up yourself!
Extra extra: Sofia is a Lombardo fan! Who knew?If you guys hadn’t noticed, I’m staging a boycott in which I won’t write any recaps until TFC scores. Unity!

hahah i know its a shock to everyone! i mean its not like i have ever even mentioned his name on here at all before.
sorry but i think your job will be a lot easier because im not sure i see a goal in TFC’s future….i have kinda given up now…

What!? Sofia is a Lombardo FAN!? Get outta town, you don’t say
LOL. I agree, there may not be much to write about but I hope there is… or WAIT! WAIT WAIT WAIT. Maybe I do not. Maybe this will have current season ticket holders so disgusted with the team that they will give up their season tix making them available next season for MEEEEEEEE (& Others who want/need!)…

thats what im saying because i dont even think i talk about him a lot if at all geezz….;)
wow paolo i never looked at it that way so yeah lets go every other team TFC has to play!! crap that makes me feel weird inside - cheering for another team…well lets hope we tie the rest of our games 0-0 so that season tix will be more avaliable for those of us stupid enough not to buy them this year.

oh an by the way any welsh was sold to blackpool fc today

Hey I guess I like that 0-0 idea, they should play an 8-1-1 formation to close out the year and bore the Crap out of people. At least could say they couldn’t score because they were focusing on defense.
Don’t feel bad about it. Just think of it as you knowing the season is lost, next season will be better and you might be there cheering them on… Every Home Game!! Am I being too selfish here in hoping for this? Next game I go to I am going to try and talk people into getting rid of their season tickets.
Welsh is gonzo? For real? He couldn’t do much in the MLS, so back to the Championship he goes, where he apparently wasn’t doing much either, to a newly promoted side. Did TFC even get real money for him?

haaha 8-1-1 thats a great idea!!! and yes i think we are both being selfish wishing for TFC not to score haha.
yupp as far as i know he gone and apparently we got real money for him but i’m smarter than that i know that we probably got monopoly money or something like that because it welsh and he wasnt doing much so he wasnt worth much…

Its ok I think we could be a little selfish since the team can’t really help themselves at this point. We are just hoping for the probable and in the end it we hoping it benefits us!!
I wonder how much real money, if any at all, they sold Welsh for…

i think that if TFC fail to make playoffs some people will sell their seasons…so we still may have a chance.

As much as I hate to say it….. Lets keep our fingers crossed!

Hm, I’m all for team spirit but I can’t find anything about Welsh. Nothing on Blackpool’s site, or TFC’s, or Wikipedia. Where did you find this out, Sofia?

The Globe & Mail had an article with few details. It id didn’t state if he was sold or if he left on his own terms or what. It did state that it would free up cap space. He was set to make $228000. Pretty high Salary for an average MLS’er I would think. Here is the article:

im part of the BIgSoccer forum so i was reading about it there…i havent heard anything from a credible source. actually on his wikipedia page it said that on august 30 he was apparently saying goodbyes to everyone and going to blackpool fc.

The Blackpool website has the info today re: Welsh. He will probably do well there. He was inconsistent for tfc, but i remember some of his crosses resulted in goals…..at least once, or twice…..
