TFC daily dime - 24/05/08
By: nicholas | May 24th, 2008Maurice Edu seams to have been called up for the US National team game against England at Wembley stadium on Wednesday. He was not originally called into the initial squad, but a knee injury to Derby County Midfield player Benny ” THE JET” Feilhaber, has opened the door for the talented midfield.
Maurice is expected to play against DC tonight at RFK stadium, but will be leaving the team right after the game on a flight to London.
As a TFC fan i cannot be too worried because TFC should have adequate depth to cover Maurice Edu against Montreal on the Tuesday and LA who will be without Goldenballs and Landycakes on the Saturday. Possible options include Kevin Harmse, Tyler Roslund, Joey Melo<img
