Toronto fc pre-season update #6

By: nicholas | February 26th, 2008

grindsmygears4.jpgThe Big news today is that Ronnie O’brian is on his way to San Jose for allocation money and a first round draft pick. You may have noticed that there has not been any condescending remarks in this article about Mo johnston or any derogatory marks about how Mo has not made any moves to improve the current squad and if he believes that addition by subtraction works in this league, he will have a sad realization coming. I do remember him coming on television and stating that he needed two defenders, 2 midfielder and 2 strikers to further develop the lack of dept that our poor little expansion team has. ( i really hope Mo and MLSE doesn’t believe that we have maple leaf syndrome ) … TFC will not stay quiet if the team continues to lose, and that amazing success story of selling out BMO field for the second straight year will probably not make it to the third. AND THAT IS WHAT REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS

hey mellisa , coach mo wont acknowledge the trade but usually if you confront coach mo about any trades or player movement, he would flat out deny it if it isn;t true but he wasn’t speaking about it, so that is usually a confirmation about the news.
